Dear followers and readers, recently I moved my blog to my own webspace. There’s already some new content like a tutorial over there. : ) See you there!
I love the storm howling around the house, heavy rain knocking on the roof-light, the deep rumbling of an approaching thunderstorm. Dramatic weather makes me feel warm and save at home and I enjoy watching it through the window.
Right now it’s constantly raining, the clouds are almost hanging on the ground and I can’t believe we had that wonderful, wonderful day two weeks ago. I’m so glad, Joanne and I snapped at the chance and took some pictures. Although it was her second shoot ever, she amazed me with her incredible beauty. We surely plan to meet each other again.
After being into photopraphy for some years, I found my taste, the kind of photography I like. But it would be boring just to see one style all the time. That’s why I really enjoy watching different types of photography. This is my tribute to new impulses.

His photography project “Winter 1972” is awesome. And it’s great to get a sneak peak into the making of process. Be sure to see “Black March, Wald”, too.

She shows this kind of really strong conceptual pictures which can’t be called photography anymore, because they’re already art.

His “urban legends” project is epic - you should print out the pictures at some metres. One of them is able to fill a whole room with a story.

I don’t have much to say about his works - just watch, feel and enjoy.
So this was my last shooting during my short trip to Freiberg where I visited lovely Grit. Four days, four girls - I wouldn’t do it again. Taking pictures can be so exhausting. But I love the results and with Marie finally I was able to try something new (for me) even if our hair & make-up artist jumped off spontaneously. So thank you very much for your patience and your trust!
She is an amazing woman. Her expression makes me melt every single time I see a picture of her. Gia.
